Muscat: His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Oman's Foreign Affairs Minister, held a telephone call with His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud, Foreign Minister of the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the call, the two ministers exchanged views on regional developments, where H.E. Sayyid Badr expressed the Sultanate of Oman's solidarity with the Kingdom and its rejection of targeting civilian facilities or undermining its security and the safety of civilians.
The two ministers affirmed the importance of continued coordination and consultation, and strengthening efforts aimed at containing tensions and consolidating de-escalation, in a way that paves the way for political dialogue and pushes towards addressing all issues and crises through peaceful means, in order to preserve the security and stability of the region.
