1,000 mangrove seedlings cultivated as part of campaign in Oman

Muscat: Around 1,000 seedlings of mangrove trees have been cultivated by the Environment Authority in the wilayat of Barka.

A statement issued online by Environment Authority said: "Within the framework of the national initiative to plant 10 million trees, and with the aim of preserving and rehabilitating the ecosystems and their components, the Environment Authority implemented a campaign to cultivate 1,000 seedlings of mangroves in Khor Al Hfri in the wilayat of Barka."
