Seedlings cultivated by Environment Authority in Oman

Muscat: More than 450 seedlings of Sidr and Ghaf trees have been cultivated by the Environment Department in Al Buraimi Governorate.

A statement issued online by Environment Authority said :"The cultivation of 500 seedlings of Sidr and Ghaf trees was carried out by the Environment Department in Al Buraimi Governorate in cooperation with Emaar Mahdha Company, which provided the irrigation system for the seedlings. The cultivation comes within the framework of the efforts made by the Environment Department to increase the green cover areas in partnership with the private sector institutions."
