Muscat: National carrier, Oman Air will increase flights to Zurich, Frankfurt, Paris, Munich, Milan and Istanbul from October 25 as part of its Winter 2026/27 schedule, offering travellers more options and improved connectivity across Europe.
Capacity on Oman Air’s Zurich route will triple compared with the summer season, with widebody aircraft deployed on up to five weekly services. Frequencies to Frankfurt, Paris, Munich, Milan and Istanbul will also increase to as many as five flights per week.
Oman Air will also increase flights to Moscow from four per week during summer to up to eight weekly services throughout the winter season, strengthening connectivity between Oman and Russia.
The expanded winter programme covers destinations across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Europe, Russia and the Far East, alongside a growing network of codeshare partnerships. The increased capacity is expected to give passengers greater flexibility while creating more opportunities to attract visitors to Oman.
The season will mark the first full winter programme for several destinations introduced earlier this year as part of Oman Air’s network expansion strategy. Flights to Singapore will operate four times a week, while Tashkent will continue with twice-weekly services and Sochi with one weekly flight.
To meet strong demand on busy routes, Oman Air will introduce selected widebody services to Mumbai and Dhaka once a week, increasing capacity and offering passengers the enhanced comfort of its Boeing 787 fleet.
Domestic connectivity will also be strengthened, with flights between Muscat and Khasab increasing to up to four times a week. Services between Muscat and Salalah will operate up to five times daily throughout the winter season.
Oman Air’s winter programme is complemented by an expanding codeshare network. Through expanded agreements with Lufthansa and SWISS, passengers can connect via Frankfurt to Edinburgh, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Bergen and Billund; via Munich to Edinburgh and Wrocław; and via Zurich to Gothenburg and Oslo.
An expanded codeshare partnership with Malaysia Airlines will also open up additional travel options across Greater China, with Shanghai, Beijing Daxing and Guangzhou added to the network.
Members of both airlines’ loyalty programmes will benefit from oneworld recognition, including tier privileges and service benefits throughout their journeys.
Oman Air’s Winter 2026/27 schedule begins on October 25, with bookings available through the airline’s website and mobile app. Passengers can access fares through these channels.
