Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the GasTech 2026 Conference and Exhibition, held in Bangkok, Thailand, from September 14-17, 2026. The Sultanate's participation focuses on its efforts to support the energy sector's transformation, reduce emissions, and achieve the goals of Oman Vision 2040.

It also aims to enhance integration across the various sectors of the energy system, thereby opening broader horizons for strategic partnerships and investments with international partners.

As part of this participation, His Excellency Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals, participated in a ministerial session during the conference's opening ceremony. The session addressed the transformations in the global energy landscape under the theme "Resetting Energy: Who Holds Power in the New World Order?"

Also participating in the conference as part of the Sultanate of Oman's delegation are TAQA Oman, OQ Exploration and Production, Integrated Gas Company, OQ Gas Networks, and Oman LNG. These companies are organizing the Sultanate of Oman's pavilion at the exhibition under the theme "Energy from Oman," focusing on Oman's integrated, reliable, and competitive energy system. The pavilion will highlight the sector's capabilities and its role in supporting energy security and industrial growth, while keeping pace with the rapid transformations occurring in the global energy sector.

The Sultanate of Oman is participating in the exhibition with a pavilion showcasing projects, solutions, and operational capabilities that reflect the development of Oman's energy system and its achievements in efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, in addition to its contribution to empowering the economy and enhancing local value.

The Sultanate of Oman's pavilion serves as a platform for direct engagement with international partners, exploring new avenues for partnerships and investments, and strengthening ties with existing and potential clients. This contributes to solidifying Oman's position in the energy sector and supporting the sector's progress towards a more sustainable future.

The participation emphasized that Oman's presence at GasTech 2026 reflects the level of integration among the various components of the energy sector and embodies the Sultanate's ability to unify national expertise and capabilities to deliver an integrated system that meets market needs and keeps pace with developments in the global energy sector.
