
Muscat: As part of a series of meetings between the Office of the Wali of Muttrah and the company investing in the Aint Marina Project, Dr Hamad bin Saeed Al Maamari, Wali of Muttrah, met with representatives of the company, attended numerous residents of Aint Village and local fishermen.
This meeting discussed the latest developments in the project, reviewed the key demands and needs of residents and fishermen, and addressed the challenges facing the contractor company implementing this project, to find appropriate solutions.
During this meeting, numerous project-related matters were covered to boost coordination among the various stakeholders, following up on the observations and demands raised, and reaching solutions that support the project progress according to its intended objectives.
Representatives of Oman Flour Mills Company also attended the meeting. This company is currently expanding its geographical operations and constructing additional silos. Discussions focused on ways to utilise the soil and rock waste generated by the project works and to reuse these materials.
Thereby maximising benefits from available resources and supporting sustainable practices in project implementation.
The meeting forms part of the Office of the Wali of Mutrah’s commitment to continuing direct coordination with relevant entities and the local community, and to strengthening integration among institutions and companies.
This contributes to addressing challenges, unifying efforts and supporting the implementation of projects that serve the public interest.
