Advanced Scouts summer camp concludes in Dhofar Governorate

Salalah: The summer camp for the stage of Advanced Scout, organised by the Ministry of Education, concluded in the Governorate of Dhofar on Sunday.

The camp, held under the theme "Our future lies in our values", saw the participation of about 300 scouts and scout leaders from different governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.

The camp aimed to invest in youthful energy, utilise innovative talents and equip participants with skills of self-reliance and time management, in addition to fostering teamwork, cooperation and initiatives.

The programme of the closing ceremony included a visit to a roadshow, a visual presentation featuring the most prominent activities implemented during the camp and the honouring of establishments and individuals who contributed to the success of the camp.

The closing ceremony was held under the auspices of Dr. Badr Hamoud Al Kharousi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education for Education, and attended by local dignitaries, government officials and representatives of private sector establishments.
