Muscat: The Association for Children with Disabilities celebrated the occasion of Purple Saturday by organizing a recreational and awareness event aimed for children with disabilities and their families affiliated with the association's centers.
The event aimed to enhance the integration of persons with disabilities into society, consolidate the principles of inclusivity and equal opportunities, and raise awareness of their rights. It also sought to encourage institutions to provide more supportive and accommodating environments for them, thereby contributing to their empowerment and enhancing their active participation in various aspects of life.
The event featured a number of recreational and interactive activities, competitions, and various segments that brought joy and happiness to the children and their families. This took place in an atmosphere that reflected the institutions' commitment to their social responsibility toward persons with disabilities.
