New specialised services in dental surgery launched

Al Suwaiq: In a special mission at Al Suwaiq Hospital, North Al Batinah Governorate, a medical team from Al Nahda Hospital recently launched dental surgery services for people with disabilities and activated a clinic for the treatment of temporomandibular joint diseases (TMJ).

The step was in pursuance of a drive to localise specialised medical services and minimise the need to transfer patients to referral hospitals. It also helps accelerate access to healthcare, raise the quality of services offered to patients and cut down patient waiting time.

The operations are supported by teams specialised in anaesthesia and nursing, in addition to technical teams.
