Liquor bottles, cigarette packets seized in Sohar

Muscat: The Compliance and Risk Assessment Department seized 5,840 bottles of alcoholic beverages, 196 packs of cigarettes, and more than 840 kilograms of pork in the Wilayat of Sohar.

The consignment was stored inside the residence of individuals of Asian nationality. Legal procedures are being taken against the accused.
