Muscat: The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) has added a new ambulance service in the Wilayat of Duqm. The initiative is part of ongoing efforts to enhance the emergency response system and improve the readiness of ambulance services to keep pace with the developmental and economic growth the Wilayat is witnessing.
The addition of the service comes in light of the rapid urban, industrial, and investment expansion taking place in the Wilayat of Duqm, alongside its economic and logistical importance to the Sultanate of Oman. This continuous growth necessitates the strengthening of safety and emergency services to better serve the local community and those working in vital economic areas.
The Authority confirmed that the new service will contribute to supporting the field response system and reducing response times to emergency reports. This deployment will ultimately enhance the efficiency of handling various accidents and medical cases according to the highest standards of readiness and response.
The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority continues to implement its development plans across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, fully aligned with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040 to enhance the quality of services provided in the fields of civil defence and ambulance care.
