
Muscat —- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended his greetings to the citizens and residents in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as to the entire Islamic nation, on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr.
This was stated in a statement issued today by the Diwan of Royal Court, the text of which reads as follows:
"Rejoicing in the advent of the blessed Eid Al-Fitr 1447 AH, following the completion by Almighty Allah's grace of the holy month of Ramadan, with all the virtues and blessings He bestowed upon the faithful during its days and nights of fasting, prayer and spiritual abundance — His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has extended his greetings to the citizens and residents in the Sultanate of Oman, and to the entire Islamic nation, on this auspicious occasion.
As His Majesty conveys his sincere wishes to the citizens of the beloved homeland and to all residents across its land for a joyful Eid Al-Fitr holiday, he prays to the Almighty Allah for the return of this occasion and similar ones while they enjoy happiness and prosperity, and that He forever bestow upon the Sultanate of Oman and its people abundant blessings and ever-flowing grace.
May Allah the Almighty protect His Majesty the Sultan and shower upon him His abundant grace and boundless blessings. May He sustain him as a steadfast guardian and enduring source of strength for dear Oman and its noble sons. Every year, may all be in joy and felicity."
