Foreign Minister receives copies of credentials from ambassadors of Sri Lanka, Philippines

Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received today, separately, copies of the credentials of Wijesinghe Arachchige De Alwis, Ambassador-designate of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman, and Noralyn Jubaira Baja, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of the Philippines to the Sultanate of Oman.

During the meeting, the Minister wished the ambassadors success in performing their duties, and further progress and prosperity for the bilateral relations with their respective countries.

The meetings were attended by Najeeb Yahya Al Balushi, Head of the Protocol Department at the Foreign Ministry and several officials from the Ministry.
