
Muscat: Total public spending in the Sultanate of Oman’s General Budget for the 2026 fiscal year is estimated at OMR 11.977 billion, reflecting a 1.5 percent increase over the approved spending level for 2025.
According to official budget figures, total projected revenues for the 2026 general budget, calculated on an assumed average oil price of $60 per barrel, are estimated at OMR 11.447 billion, marking a 2.4 percent rise compared to the approved revenue estimate for 2025.
The budget underscores the government’s continued focus on sustaining public services, supporting economic stability, and advancing national development priorities.
