Jakarta--- A trade delegation from Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) today visited Indonesia to explore investment opportunities and discuss areas of cooperation with representatives of the business community.
The delegation took note of successful experiences in various economic vital sectors in Indonesia.
Zahir bin Mohammed Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber's branch in Al Buraimi Governorate, said that the visit offered an opportunity to enhance ties with industrial institutions and entrepreneurs at an international level. The team studied the latest experiences and practices that could be utilized to develop local industrial sectors, he added.
Al Kaabi pointed out that such visits open vistas for building strategic partnerships that support business growth and enhance the private sector's ability to compete in global markets.
The OCCI delegation also visited Expo Indonesia, held in Jakarta, where the members of the delegation explored the latest technologies in the fields of production, logistics and industrial automation.
