
Nizwa: The Municipal Council in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate discussed enhancing the efficiency of public services, regulating land use, and following up on the progress of development projects in various Wilayats of the Governorate.
During its meeting held on Tuesday, chaired by Sheikh Hilal bin Said Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah and Chairman of the Council, the Council reviewed the recommendations implemented during the previous meeting and followed up on the actions and proposals approved in past sessions.
The Council discussed several topics, including emphasising the necessity of protecting the visual identity of heritage sites and adhering to regulatory controls, as well as planning matters in the Governorates' Wilayats. Additionally, the Council reviewed the report of the Social Affairs Committee regarding the controls and standards regulating requests for the creation of public council lands.
The Municipal Council members conducted a visit to a number of vital projects to monitor the progress of work and review their adherence to the approved technical specifications.
