Muscat: Within the framework of promoting family cohesion values and raising awareness regarding preparing for marital life, the Wali of Bausher Office on Wednesday conducted a community initiative entitled ‘And We Placed between You Affection and Mercy’ in cooperation with the Omani Women Association in Bausher.
Sheikh Salem Al- Nomani delivered the lecture in the Meeting and Seminar Hall at the Wali’s Office, attended by interested and relevant members of the community.
This lecture underlined the foundations of a stable marital life and the significance of prior preparation for family life regarding psychological, social, and economic aspects to ensure family happiness, stability and continuity.
As well as, the role of community initiatives in educating young people on responsible marriage, that is based on affection, mercy, compassion, and mutual understanding.
This initiative coincides with inaugurating the Marriage Fund for Omani youth, which provides financial and moral support to couples planning to get married and facilitates the requirements of married life.
Thus, promoting family’s success and stability and contributing to achieving a cohesive society according to the Oman Vision 2040 objectives.
The fund promotes family consciousness among the youth and offers training and awareness programmes that assist in dealing with challenges of the succeeding life.
Muscat Governorate announced that it is implementing the Marriage Fund support service for Omani young people, people, fulfilling the noble Royal directives to implement the Marriage Funds in all the Sultanate’s governorates.
The Muscat Governorate further explained that this service is available through the Services Portal on its official website according to the approved regulations and conditions.
