Agreement inked to boost commercial, aeronautical revenues of Oman Airports

Muscat: “Oman Airports” today signed an agreement with Singapore’s Changi Airports International to enhance commercial and aeronautical revenues for “Oman airports”.

The agreement aims to establish a preliminary strategic cooperation between the two parties, based on the principle of genuine partnership to exchange ideas and expertise, while facilitating the development of vital projects that enrich the entertainment and commercial experience for visitors and travelers.

Under this agreement, Changi Airport will provide practical solutions to improve revenue streams for Oman Airports, contributing as an active partner in developing future solutions. These include land leasing and constructing activity zones tailored for visitors and local residents, among other initiatives.

The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Said Al Amri, CEO of Oman Airports, and Eugene Gan, CEO of Changi Airports International.

The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, Chairman of Oman Airports’ Board of Directors.
