This championship is one of the largest and most prestigious global events in the world of drift racing, featuring over 50 professional drivers representing 18 countries from around the globe. The event will also showcase a lineup of international drift champions who will deliver spectacular performances for motorsport enthusiasts.
The championship will take place at Sohar Talent Square, which will be officially inaugurated during the finals of the championship, making it the first major sporting event to be hosted at this new venue. The qualifiers will kick off on Thursday, February 13, while the thrilling finals will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, promising an atmosphere full of excitement and intense competition.
Fans will witness outstanding performances from renowned Omani champions such as Ahmed Al Amri, Haitham Al Hadeedi, and Tarek Al Shihani, alongside top international drift champions who will light up the track with their exceptional skills and advanced drifting techniques. This championship will be a unique opportunity to experience a blend of local talent and global expertise, making it an unmissable event for motorsport fans.
This major event is organized in collaboration with the Office of the Governor of North Al Batinah and the Oman Automobile Association, as part of efforts to strengthen Oman’s presence on the international motorsport scene.
