Five arrested for drug smuggling attempt

ROP said in a statement: "The General Administration for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances arrested a citizen and four infiltrators of Asian nationality while they were trying to smuggle more than 25 kilograms of hashish. The legal procedures against them are completed."

CDAA team douses vehicle fire in Muscat

The CDAA said in a statement: "The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Department in Muscat Governorate dealt with a vehicle fire accident in the Wilayat of Baushar, where the teams were able to extinguish it without recording any injuries."
