Eight expats arrested in Oman for Covid-19 violations

Muscat: Eight expats have been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for violation of the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "South Al Sharqiyah Police Command arrested eight expatriates for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with Covid-19 by gathering and gambling. The legal procedures against them are completed."
