Tell us briefly about the journey of Advanced Medical Center (AMC) so far and its vision, aim, and mission? How long did it take to build?
Advanced Medical Center is a multi-specialised polyclinic run by well experienced, compassionate, and world-class Iranian doctors and consultants. AMC is run and operated by international partners to give quality health care to all its patients.
Our mission is to improve the quality of life by providing world-class health care in a caring, patient-centred environment. Our vision is to bring state-of-the-art healthcare to the patients we serve in the Sultanate of Oman.
Our aims are to give the ultimate level of satisfaction for our visitors, deliver the highest level of medical proficiency, transform the feelings of pain to joy during medical visits, provide the best workplace for our staff and specialists, develop services for better quality, reach and ease of use.
We started to build our dream to have the best Iranian medical centre here in Muscat in 2016. Now we can’t wait to serve people in the best way possible we can.
What are the services offered at AMC?
Our centre is open from 8am to 9pm, so we have 13 hours services at the clinic, as well as 24-hours response and counselling for the patients who need this service. We have a VIP department for our loyal customers that includes quick and out-of-turn services, door-to-door transfer of the patients to the center, as well as childcare services for anybody or mothers who come to the center with their children.
We have on-site laboratory and pharmacy services with free delivery for our VIP patients.
We utilise the most modern medical equipment and the highest quality consumables for the treatment of patients, which increases the level of patient satisfaction by considering the expertise and experience of the physicians in our center. Our team is constantly monitoring the patient's treatment process even after leaving the clinic to achieve complete recovery of the patient.
Tell us about the medical staff? Where are they from and what are their specialisations?
We have hired highly experienced physicians in different fields such as dermatology, internal, paediatric, gynaecology, dental With most of them being from Iran and having more than 20 years of experience, it is important to say that they are prominent university professors, so they are well-known members of Iranian Medical Society who have an exclusive treatment method and scientific arguments in their field.
What expectation patients can have when they visit AMC?
When patients visit our center, they forget the feeling of being sick at first, because the atmosphere of our clinic is so comfortable and specially designed. From early admission stages to final discharge procedures, we will provide a journey of comfort and joy for all our patients.

We have online consultation on our website for people who have limited time and are at distance from our center.
Any plans of opening more branches in Oman?
I think all establishments would like to have more than one branch, especially for a polyclinic center. We don’t like our patients travelling far away to see our doctors. We want our facility to be within their reach.
What are the future plans?
We intend to upgrade from a specialised daily polyclinic to a specialised boarding hospital in Muscat. We are planning to open another branch in the Sultanate of Oman.
