Kempinski Hotel Muscat celebrates Oman’s 50th National Day with exclusive photo exhibition

Muscat: On November 18, Kempinski Hotel Muscat will hold a photo exhibition in celebration of Oman’s 50th National Day, featuring exclusive photos from when Oman established the first colour-TV station in 1974. Manfred Klupsch, the head engineer who was in charge of the project, gifted the hotel about 40 of his photographs memorialising the first steps of building Oman TV.
Due to the efforts of Manfred Klupsch, he managed to provide 100 of his Omani colleagues to take over the organisation of the broadcasting, which created greater opportunity for the citizens of Oman.
Kempinski Hotel Muscat is thrilled to be organising this photo exhibition and would like to thank Manfred Klupsch for helping to bring the history of the Sultanate to life and honouring the developments the country has had since 1970.
