Muscat: Due to the current condition of COVID 19, and as part of its procedures to prevent the widespread of the pandemic, BankDhofar will not be distributing Eid notes. However, BankDhofar encourages customers to share the joy of Eid through its mobile wallet, where customers can make payments, as Eidi gift, to their loved ones on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
With the use of the BankDhofar’s Mobile Payments System through the Mobile Banking App, users can make a range of payments such as Person-to-Person (P2P), Person to Business (P2B) and Person to Government (P2G) with the state-of-the-art QR scanning system, and dispute management facility and direct debit from the user’s account. The unique QR Scanning feature allows the users to transfer to quickly simply by scanning the QR code or by entering the registered mobile number or Alias of the beneficiary of another wallet holder. Users can transact from their operative account or wallet account via the mobile payment system using BankDhofar's mobile banking app.
BankDhofar's mobile banking app offers a wide range of exclusive services which are available only with through its award-winning app. The services include; instant transfer to any bank in the Sultanate, cardless cash, a mobile top-up for all telecom providers in the Sultanate, increasing withdrawal limit to OMR 5,000, among other services. BankDhofar customers can access the financial services through a wide network of branches, ATMs and CDMs around the Sultanate. The network includes 70 branches, 120 ATMs, 58 CDMs and 15 FFMs that work round-the-clock with highest ATM uptime in the Sultanate of 99.4 per cent. The bank launched Cardless ATM Banking Services using mobile. The first of its kind service in the world enables customers to conduct ATM transactions easily only by using their mobile numbers.
