Muscat: Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate, in step with its vision ‘To serve you better, everyday’ and commitment to partnership in encouraging a savings culture in Oman, has enhanced the number of prizes given to customers participating in its salary transfer draws in its Al Mazyona 2020 scheme with enhanced prize money of OMR11 million.
Abdullah Tamman Al Mashani, DGM – Institutional Sales and Product Development, Bank Muscat, said that the different prizes under the bank’s flagship savings programme would promote a healthy savings habit. He added, “All customers who transfer their salaries to Al Mazyona accounts are eligible to be entered into the salary transfer draws. Al Mazyona will reward 15 winners every month from among those with salaries between OMR500 and OMR999. The winners will be paid OMR500 every month for a whole year. Similarly, 15 winners will be chosen every month from among those whose salaries are above OMR1,000 to receive a monthly payment of OMR500 for a whole year.
This year, the bank has lined up the largest number of high-value prizes in the country with 6,677 winners all set to be rewarded for their savings habit. Both the number of prizes and the total prize money have been increased across different customer segments. Bank Muscat recently celebrated the special mid-year draw at its head office. Over OMR1 million was given in high-value prizes to the lucky winners including 2 special prizes of OMR250,000 each. The live streaming of the prize draws on the official social media channels of the bank including Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, saw the keen following from the general public.
