NBO picks Al Kanz June winners

Muscat: Encouraging customers to save and win with its Al Kanz Savings Scheme, National Bank of Oman (NBO) has given away OMR 565,000 in the June edition of its popular prize draw.
Two lucky winners received OMR 250,000 each in the largest giveaway of the year, the half-yearly mega draw.
Held at the bank’s headquarters in Azaiba, the draw also rewarded OMR 500 each to 30 Salary Transfer winners, OMR 2,000 each to five Badeel card-holders who also maintain an Al Kanz account, and OMR 10,000 each to four winners in an exclusive draw for Mazaya customers. Under the theme “Making your dreams a reality”, this year’s scheme will give away OMR 3.251 million in prize money by the end of the year.

Delighting customers across the country since 1995, the Al Kanz Savings Account scheme continues to grow every year. 2020’s scheme is offering even bigger cash prizes to more winners over the year, along with several new segments. The re-introduction of the quarterly regional draw will see 24 customers win a total of OMR 600,000 by the end of the year, while the bank has increased the frequency of its popular Mazaya draws from quarterly to monthly. A new segment has been created for account-holders who hold a Badeel prepaid card, and a Youth Draw has been added to the exciting National Day draw, giving OMR 100 to 50 Youth Account-holders. Additionally, Omani Women’s Day will be celebrated with a special draw of OMR 500 for 50 ladies maintaining an Al Kanz account with NBO.
As well as the half-yearly Mega Draws, held in June and December, giving away a total of OMR 1 million, exclusive draws will also be conducted for Sadara Account-holders, giving away OMR 25,000 each to 30 winners over ten months, and a Youth draw, giving away OMR 100 to 205 winners twice during the year. On top of that, 30 winners will be given OMR 500 every single month in the Salary Transfer draws.
Customers are automatically eligible for the monthly prize draws by maintaining an average minimum balance of OMR 100 in their Al Kanz Savings Account. Every OMR 100 provides an extra chance in the draw, so the more money kept in the account, the more the chance of winning.
