Notably the bank has increased the number of prizes in the 2020 edition of Al Mazyona for winners across all governorates of the Sultanate. The regional monthly draws will now see 420 winners win OMR500 each every month. Customers need to maintain a minimum balance of OMR100 to be automatically entered into these monthly draws. The special Mid-Year and End-of-Year draws will see 28 winners from across the Sultanate walk away with prizes of OMR5,000. Customers need to maintain a minimum balance of OMR1,000 to be automatically entered into these two special draws.
Speaking about the 2020 Al Mazyona savings scheme, Abdullah Tamman Al Mashani, DGM – Institutional Sales and Product Development, Bank Muscat, said that the bank was happy with the response to the latest edition of Al Mazyona which shows that there is tremendous interest in savings programmes. He added that the bank is constantly innovating and adding to the programme in response to customer requirements. One of the major reasons for the success of the scheme is that Bank Muscat has been transparent in conducting prize draws throughout the year. He thanked all customers, both individuals as well as corporate entities, for the confidence in Bank Muscat’s products and services. He added that the bank would continue to keep pace with their aspirations and always work towards serving its customers better every day in line with its vision.
This year’s scheme offers the biggest prize money in Oman of OMR11 million and was launched at a press conference held at the bank’s head office earlier this year. The press conference also witnessed the first monthly draws for various prizes under the programme. The bank will continue to conduct regular monthly draws during the coming months and announce the details across different media.
