Muscat: A farm in Sohar in North Al Batinah was shut down after authorities found expatriate workers carrying out furniture maintenance and upholstery contrary to municipal regulations and laws.

Abdul Rahman Al Qasmi, Director General of the General Directorate of Consumer Protection in North Al Batinah governorate said: “The commercial fraud has no limits. It has no morals at all and its only goal is profit even at the expense of human health and safety.”
