Oman, Egypt to strengthen ties

Muscat: Sheikh Nasser bin Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the State Administrative and Financial Audit Institution (SFAAI), received in his office on Wednesday Dr. Saleh Abdulrahman Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Central Agency for Organisation and Administration of Egypt.
SFAAI Chairman began the meeting by welcoming the Egyptian guest and his accompanied delegation, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Sultanate and that the desired goals from this visit are to be met.
The two sides touched upon the development process of the historic relations the two countries have and the ways through which such ties can be promoted and strengthened in order to serve the common interests of the two countries .
On his turn, the Egyptian official expressed his gratitude to have this visit to the Sultanate and appreciated the warm hospitality extended to him and his delegation, wishing the Sultanate continuous progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said.
During the meeting, a presentation was delivered on the mandate and objectives of SFAAI. They also discussed a number of matters of common interest and areas of cooperation between the two parties in order to efficiently achieve the assigned objectives.
