Sultan Qaboos University to celebrate 16th anniversary of His Majesty's visit

Muscat: Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) will celebrate tomorrow (Monday) at the conference hall the 16th anniversary of the visit of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to the SQU, which falls on May 2nd each year.
The ceremony will be held under the auspices of Dr. Ali bin Mas’oud al-Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry. It will include two speeches; one of them by the SQU Vice Chancellor, in addition to opening an exhibition on scientific research, student activities and honouring outstanding students at the university.
As more as 75,000 male and female students enrolled in the university in the last 30 years. More than 46,000 male and female students graduated from it while there are more than 18,000 male and female students are currently pursuing their studies.
