Illegal kitchen run from house shut down

Municipal authorities raided a residential house which was being used by expatriates to run an unlicensed kitchen for preparing food.
This was being done in the governorate of Al Batinah North.
"The Department of Health Affairs raided a residential house in one of Sohar's neighborhoods, which was used by expatriates to set up an unlicensed kitchen for preparing food. Food cooked in unhealthy conditions was seized and necessary legal measures were taken against the accused." – Sohar Municipality
Officials added that they will not tolerate those who commit such abuses and endanger the health of consumers.
