More than 20,000 tablets of narcotics seized in Oman

Muscat: The Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances at Musandam Governorate Police Command arrested four people of an Asian nationality for smuggling drugs for the purpose of trafficking and using, and for entering the country illegally, in the Wilayat of Daba.
A Royal Oman Police (ROP) official said the arrests were made in a mountainous area in Al Tawiyah. Police officers recovered 7,200 tablets of tramadol, 17 kg of hashish and 14,770 of psychotropic tablets.
