Muscat: Galfar Engineering and Contracting Company, one of the leading contracting firms in Oman, has won four major contracts worth OMR21.91 million from the Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) for operation and maintenance of its assets in Al Dakhiliyah, South Al Batinah, Al Seeb and Muscat regions.
These contracts are for maintaining and operating water networks, water wells, pumping stations and buildings, the company said in a disclosure statement posted on MSM website.
The first contract was for operating and maintaining PAEW’s assets in Al Dakhiliyah for OMR7.97 million for a five year period, while the second project for OMR6.28 million was for South Al Batinah governorate.
The third contract worth OMR3.15 million was for operation and maintenance of assets of PAEW for Al Seebwilayat and the fourth one was for operation and maintenance of PAEW assets in Muscat governorate for OMR4.15 million, the company statement added.
