BankDhofar organises blood donation drive

Muscat: Striving to implement and participate in various activities and events that contribute to the development and well-being of the society, BankDhofar organised a blood donation drive in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Department of Blood Banks Services.
BankDhofar staff enthusiastically supported the cause that comes within the Ministry of Health’s continuous efforts to assemble blood units from donors and to provide these units to healthcare institutions. The drive took place at the head office building of BankDhofar.
Commenting on the initiative, Sami Omar Al Zadjali, executive manager - Marketing & Corporate Communications, noted: “Blood donation helps healthcare institutions provide safe blood units for inpatients and those in need of blood transfer, therefore we constantly promote the healthy practice of donating blood within the bank. This initiative comes as part of BankDhofar’s staff wellbeing programme, aiming at encouraging the staff to participate in causes that help in keeping good health. We at BankDhofar save no efforts to support healthcare providers across the Sultanate and to contribute to their work that aims to provide high-quality health services to meet the needs and requirements of the society.”
