Change your life with BankDhofar 2018 Savings Scheme

Muscat: With the aim of spreading the culture of saving and rewarding its customers’, BankDhofar has unveiled the new edition of Savings Scheme for the year 2018. The new scheme will offer more valuable cash prizes for increasing number of winners in the daily, monthly and quarterly draws.
Commenting on the new 2018 saving scheme, Faisal Hamad Al Wahaibi, Chief Retail Banking Officer, said: “At BankDhofar, we strive to provide the best services and products that are tailored to suit our customers’ needs and requirements. Through the savings scheme, we aim at enriching our customers’ experience and reward them for saving. Following the remarkable success of the Savings Scheme last year we launched the new 2018 savings scheme, with bigger prizes across different categories, which will cover all governorates and all branches in the Sultanate, ensuring more customers, are included in the scheme. We have also dedicated major prizes for our Priority Banking customers. In addition to daily prizes, our Priority Banking customers have exclusive monthly and yearly prizes offered only to this very loyal and important segment of our customers.”
This year’s Savings Scheme comes under the theme ‘Change Your Life with BankDhofar 2018 Savings Scheme’. The scheme aims at encouraging customers to save which is a life-changing habit. Commenting on the theme of 2018 Savings Scheme Zaid Al Abdullatif, head of Retail Products, Business & segments noted, “The Change your Life theme emphasises on the importance of saving and we at BankDhofar encourage our customers to save by offering bigger prizes and increasing their chances to win the more they save. The prize draw is one of many new schemes to be introduced this year with an emphasis on saving, which we will announce later. We have seen a number of success stories from saving. Through saving, you may secure your children’s future, provide them better education and make them live a better life. Saving helps you change your life from being an employee to an entrepreneur.”
Elaborating on the number of prizes and winners, Iman Al Amri, Senior Manager Retail Liabilities products, elaborated on the scheme saying: “For the 2018 Savings Scheme, we have added a new category of daily draws, where 260 lucky customers will get the chance to win a daily prize worth OMR2,500. We have retained monthly and quarterly draws with prizes worth OMR25,000 and OMR250,000 for each draw respectively. In order to be eligible to enter the prize draws, our customers have to save a minimum of OMR100 in their accounts.”
“BankDhofar Savings Scheme 2018 is a great way to increase savings as it provides customers with a fair chance to win exciting cash prizes. We encourage our customers to continue saving, as they might be one of the many lucky winners of this year’s scheme,” Zaid added.
With a total of OMR1.7m, the scheme is valid through December 2018. As per the prize draw scheme, BankDhofar customers who save a minimum of OMR100 in their accounts are eligible to enter the daily draws where one lucky customer will win cash prizes worth OMR2,500 daily. As for Al Riadah customers, one lucky customer will win OMR250,000 cash prize every three months, while one lucky customer will win OMR25,000 cash prize every month.
