Muscat: Rainfall is predicted for parts of the Sultanate, with Muscat and South Batinah receiving showers this morning, according to the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).

"There will be partly cloudy skies over Musandam and parts of Oman Sea coastal areas, with chances of isolated rain," PACA said in its report.
"Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate with chance of low level clouds and fog patches, over parts of Buraimi, Dhahirah and South Sharqiyah.

Temperatures will range from 16 degrees Celsius in Saiq to 23 degrees in Muscat, Ibra, Sohar, Buraimi and Nizwa; 25 degrees in Sur and Masirah; and 27 degrees in Salalah.
Wind will be moderate to light in a northeasterly direction over the coastal areas, while it will be northwesterly light to moderate over rest the sultanate.
PACA also warned residents to avoid crossing wadis and against sailing.
