Muscat: Three expats have been arrested on charges of abuse of trust in Yanqul.
Yanqul police station arrested the three Asian nationals on charges of abuse of trust following a complaint received from a company working on the dualisation of Ibri-Yanqul road, for the loss of a quantity of reinforcing iron from the workers' warehouse in Yanqul.
The police arrested the suspects after they admitted stealing 32 tonnes of iron and selling it for OMR4800.
They were referred to the judicial authorities to complete the investigation.
