Muscat: The Palm Mall Muscat will open in the third quarter of next year, the Project Director of the Al Jarwani group, said.
“Our aim is to create a series of separate spaces that offer distinctive experiences in shopping, family entertainment, leisure,” S Anil Kumar told the Times of Oman on the sidelines of the inaugural ceremony of Al Jarwani Hospitality—another venture of the Al Jarwani group that serves the commercial, corporate and industrial hospitality of the Sultanate.
According to the officials, they are focusing to reflect the architectural characters that will portray and reflect the authentic Oman, along with its modern and progressive outlook.
The Palm Mall Muscat is located in Mabella, 14 kilometres away from the Seeb International Airport. The property is positioned off Al Khayr Street in Mabella, Al Seeb, to the west of the established residential area of Mabella.
“The Oman Aquarium, first and largest of its kind in Oman and snow village, which will be built in original snow, are some of the attractions of the mall, which makes it different from others,” Kumar said.
“Lulu will also associate with us in the mall; we also have a 14-screen multiplex with a VoX cinema,” he added.
Al Jarwani Hospitality was inaugurated under the patronage of Ahmed bin Nasser Al Mahrizi, Minister of Tourism.
“We promise to deliver the highest quality of food and food products to cater to the rapidly growing hospitality sector in the country,” Mahmood Mohamed Ali Al Jarwani, the chairman of the Al Jarwani Group said.
To expedite the company’s name, brands, such as Yummi-Yummi Catering and Hospitality, The Catering Partner, MJ Foods Production, and Le Praline will be entering the market soon.
“Our commitment to excellence at every step ensures that our innovations create systems that improve product quality and guarantee complete satisfaction,” Majid Mahmood Mohamed Ali Al Jarwani, the Director of the group said.
“Our Quality Management System is audited and verified by independent certification bodies to guarantee compliance with international standards at all times,” he added.
“The new facility will be another feather in the cap of Al Jarwani Hospitality,” said Gerald Fonseka, general manager for Al Jarwani Hospitality.
“Along with enhanced and international standard catering facilities, we are looking to offer complete solutions for the hospitality sector that will go beyond catering to enter the realm of laundry, housekeeping, hotel management and logistics,” he added.
According to the Al Jarwani group, the new kitchen is geared at producing the highest quality products, ranging from canapés and elaborate main courses to oriental sweets, a patisserie, and chocolate.
“Our main aim is to become a mobile unit, a hospitality company that can take its services from household to household to deliver all services as per the requirements of our customers,” Fonseka said.
“With our 24x7 toll free number, our new mobile application for iOS and Android, and increased presence on social media, we hope to make this goal of ours become a reality very soon,” he added.
According to officials, the Al Jarwani group has been a prominent contributor to the Sultanate’s commercial, warehouse, residential, health care and hospitality sector’s growth in the recent past.
The company’s catering verticals employ specialist chefs to create cuisines ranging from authentic Omani to the oriental Far East with the highest level of quality, taste and service for every type of event, banquet or industrial/mass requirement.
As per the group, The Laundry Partner and Spotless Cleaning are the country’s first laundry and housekeeping servicing verticals to update consumers on the status of their requirements via e-mails and SMS.
Moreover, the Al Jarwani group is looking to enhance its in-country value with an increased annual rate of Omanisation.
