Vice clampdown in Oman: 43 women held by police

Muscat: 43 Asian women have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police in a prostitution crackdown.

The ROP arrested thewomen in Wilayat Boshar in Muscat Governorate for practicing prostitution and violating the residency law.

Investigators, in cooperation with Special Tasks Police, raided several locations in Al Khuwair where 10 women were caught. The remaining 33 were arrested in three different locations.
