
Islamabad/Kabul: The Pakistani government announced today that 22 people were killed and large quantities of weapons and ammunition were destroyed in air raids it carried out on Afghanistan.
An Afghan official reported that nine people were killed and 11 others were injured in Pakistani airstrikes on Afghanistan.
Mawlawi Sher Mohammad Wahdat, head of the media and culture department in Afghanistan's Helmand province, said Pakistani military forces launched airstrikes on the Garmsir district of Helmand province.
