Oman records 45.1°C as highest temperature

Muscat: Al Sunainah recorded the Sultanate of Oman’s highest temperature during the past 24 hours, reaching 45.1°C, according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

Hamra Al Drooa also recorded 45.1°C, followed by Fahud at 44.6°C, Ibri at 44.2°C and Al Buraimi at 44.0°C.

Other high temperatures recorded were:

Bahla: 43.2°C, Nizwa: 43.0°C, Izki: 42.8°C, Dima Wa’ttayeen: 42.6°C, Um Al Zamaim: 42.4°C, Muqshin: 43.3°C

The readings were recorded by the CAA’s meteorological stations during the 24-hour period ending Monday, September 21.
