BELFAST: Hosts Ireland edged reigning T20 World Cup champions India by one run in the second T20I match to complete a historic first-ever series (2-0) win on Sunday.
Chasing 155 to win after Ireland were restricted to 154/8, India fell short by one run, ending at 153/9 despite a last-ball six by debutant Prince Yadav.
Lorcan Tucker-led Ireland brought to a grinding halt India's streak of 16 consecutive T20I series wins.
Earlier in the first T20I, Ireland upset India to seal their first victory against their opponents in any format, as captain Lorcan Tucker's half-century led his side to a historic 34-run win in Stormont.
