Oman, Germany discuss regional and international developments

Muscat: Oman’s Foreign Minister, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, held a telephone conversation on Thursday with Johann David Wadephul, Foreign Minister of the Germany, to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.

During the call, the two ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation and friendly ties between the Oman and Germany across various sectors.

They also reviewed the latest regional and international developments and welcomed the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.

Both ministers expressed support for efforts aimed at ensuring the successful implementation of the understanding, emphasizing its potential to enhance regional security and peace while safeguarding the freedom and safety of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
