
Astana,: HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan held a session of talks.
They reviewed areas of cooperation between the two countries and discussed ways to enhance them in line with the development visions of both nations, in a manner that enriches the Omani and Kazakh economies, particularly in the fields of energy, mining, technology, tourism, education and logistics.
In the presence of HH Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Uzbekistan signed a preliminary agreement to establish a strategic partnership between them, paving the way to set up a joint investment fund to develop and invest in promising opportunities in both countries.
This took place on the sidelines of HH Sayyid Theyazin’s official visit to Kazakhstan.
