His Majesty, President of Botswana grace signing of several agreements

Muscat: His Majesty the Sultan and the President of the Republic of Botswana graced at Al Barakah Palace the signing of several cooperation agreements between the two countries.

The agreements covered the following areas: mineral exploration; the development and operation of two petroleum product storage facilities – the first in the coastal region of the Republic of Namibia and the second in the Republic of Botswana; and the development, construction, and financing of a 500 MWp photovoltaic solar power plant with a battery energy storage system (BESS) in Maun, Republic of Botswana.
