
Muscat: Diplomatic contacts by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, continue amid regional developments.
Over the past week he held a series of telephone calls with counterparts in sisterly and friendly countries.
The discussions addressed developments in the region, particularly the US Iranian announcement of a ceasefire. The talks also reviewed the need to support current mediation efforts and to consolidate the ceasefire, leading to understandings that end the existing hostility and all acts of violence and fighting.
