TRA suspends Samsung Galaxy Note 7 in Oman

Muscat: Oman's Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) announced the suspension of applications for the type approval of the Samsung (Galaxy Note 7) due to the risks of the battery catching fire while charging.
"Should there be any update on this issue the TRA will advise the public of the same." the TRA said in a statement.
