Avicen conducts Pharmacist Campus Interviews to Empower Omani Talent

In alignment with the goals of Oman Vision 2040, and under the directives of H.E. Hilal bin Ali bin Hilal Al Sabti, Minister of Health, along with the guidance of Mr. Ibrahim Nasser Al Rashdi, Director General of the Drug Safety Centre at the Ministry of Health, Oman’s leading healthcare group Avicen conducted a large-scale Omani Pharmacist Campus Interview on 18th February 2026 at the National University of Science and Technology.

The initiative reflects Avicen’s ongoing commitment to strengthening the national workforce and supporting Omanization within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors. The campus recruitment drive attracted a strong turnout of pharmacy graduates and final-year students, eager to begin their professional journey with one of the Sultanate’s most trusted healthcare providers.

The interview panel was led by Sumaya Hamoud Al Balushi, Group HR Manager, alongside senior leadership members including Mr. Nissar Edathum Chalil, Managing Director of Avicen Group, Mr. Vinu Kondarampaatu, Head of Operations, and Khansaa Ayyoub Haroon Al Zadjali, HR Executive. Their active participation underscored the organization’s strategic focus on talent acquisition and professional development for Omani pharmacists.

The event was organized with the valuable support of Dr. Khalid Al Balushi, Dean of the University, Mrs. Marwa Al Hashmi, Head of Placement and Alumni Office, and P. Mohamed Ali, Chancellor of the National University of Science and Technology. Their collaboration highlights the strong partnership between academia and industry in preparing graduates for impactful roles in the healthcare sector.

During the recruitment campaign, candidates underwent structured interviews and engaged directly with the leadership team, gaining insights into Avicen’s vision, operational standards, training programs, and long-term career growth opportunities.
