Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, gave an audience at the Al Barakah Palace today to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
At the outset of the audience, His Majesty the Sultan welcomed His Royal Highness the guest, expressing his delight at this gracious visit. For his part, the guest expressed his sincere greetings and appreciation to His Majesty the Sultan for the warm welcome and generous hospitality.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince also conveyed the greetings of King Hamad bin Issa Al Khalifa of the Kingdom of Bahrain to His Majesty the Sultan, along with his best wishes of good health and happiness to His Majesty. The King of Bahrain also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity.
On his turn, His Majesty the Sultan asked His Royal Highness the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes to the King of Bahrain. His Majesty wished the people of Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
The audience reviewed aspects of cooperation and partnership between Oman and Bahrain, and means of promoting them to serve the joint interests, in addition to exchanging views on a set of regional and international developments.
The audience was attended from the Omani side by His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance, Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office, Sheikh Al Fadhl bin Mohammed Al Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Minister of Health and Anwar bin Hilal Al Jabri, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
