Muscat: A meeting was held on Sunday by the Public Authority for Consumer Protection, to study the possible effects of the Council of Minister’s decision to amend the prices of oil derivatives, which will come into effect from the mid of this month.
Dr. Said bin Khamis Al Kaabi, Chairman of the Public Authority for Consumer Protection, held an expanded meeting with directors general and directors of the PACP administrations in the governorates.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ali bin Salim Al Qalhati, Deputy Chairman of the Administrative and Financial Affairs at PACP.
Action plan
During the meeting, a number of issues were discussed including the achievements made in 2015 and the action plan for 2016, as well as the plans and programmes by PACP to maintain the achievements made for consumers over the past period. -ONA
